In 1932, the Enigma code is first broken by a Polish team of mathematicians.

In 1940, the British at Bletchley Park break the Enigma code again after the Germans had changed it frequently since the beginning of World War II in 1939.

In 1941, the British at Bletchley Park break the German Lorenz cipher machine code.

On May 7, 1974 the Germans surrender to the Allied Forces.
