Zip Disk

A zip disk holds 100 mb of data and only works in a zip drive. Disks cost approximately $12.95-$19.95 each and are available in 3 packs, 6 packs, and 10 packs.


Zip Drive

A disk drive from Iomega Corporation which takes removable 100 megabyte zip disks. Both internal and external drives are manufactured for both Mac and PC platforms, making the drive suitable for backup, mass storage or for moving files between computers.

The street price for the Zip drive is about $149.95. A 100MB starter disk, loaded with several useful utilities for the Zip drive, is included with this price.
