Graphics Library (OpenGL)
A
multi-platform software interface to graphics hardware, supporting
rendering and imaging operations. The OpenGL interface was developed
by Silicon Graphics, who license it to other vendors.
Operating
System (OS)
The
low-level software which schedules tasks, allocates storage, handles
the interface to peripheral hardware and presents a default interface
to the user when no application program is running.
