Design
(noun)
The product of an intellectual manipulation of the lements and
principles in the development of a visual idea
(verb)
the act of arranging or giving order to an idea, a physical space,
or an image.
Digital
An
analog image which has been converted to binary information (1s
and 0s) so that it may be displayed and manipulated on a computer.
The conversion process could be scanning or digital photography.
The
opposite of digital is analog.
Digitizing
The
process of converting an analog image into a digital one.
DPI
(dots per inch)
Printing
term that describes the number of dots per inch that are used
to create an image. (The image can be a font or graphic).
